Background: This is a 25+ years old series. I was in India for Sindhu Bhairavi the movie and saw it in the theatres in Madras. It was a major hit — with KB’s direction, stellar acting by Shiva Kumar as JKB, Suhasini as Sindhu, and Sulakshana as Bhairavi, topped only by Maestro Ilayaraja’s fantastic music. I did love the movie. So when I stumbled across the sequel to the movie in a TV series, it was not hard to convince myself to view it.
Be Aware: Usually I save this section for the end, but I think in this case it is more important to be upfront. This series is part 2 of Sindhu Bhairavi — a movie that narrates the love triangle between JKB, his wife Bhairavi, and his lover Sindhu. Sindhu stormed into his life through a mutual passion for music and the passion grew organically to bring them together.
