There were a few years around 2015 to 2019 when all I watched were Pakistani Dramas. After watching a lot of them and going through the whole cycle from 'I love them. Love everything about them' to 'I have had enough of same old. I am done' , I stopped watching them around 2019 and have never been tempted again. I did blog about some of the ones that stayed with me a few years after I stopped watching - https://soumyapr.medium.com/the-5-pakistani-dramas-i-cant-forget-17deadaaee1e
And then just as abruptly I watched this one. Nothing pushed me to it. Just went in, searched it and watched.
I immediately fell under the same spell that had caught me many years ago. In less than an ep everything I love about Pakistan dramas surfaced again
BE WARNED: Before I continue I must add a disclaimer - there is a major story line in this drama for one of the main characters that left me upset. I do not like it when women make choices, that are terrible, and they are shown as martyrs or worse shown as happy about it. This is my pet peeve with Asian dramas. My dislike for this story line stayed through the drama. I didn't stop watching the drama or even those scenes but I tuned it out because I did love the rest of the story arcs very much
